Here, the test is conducted on 5 impacts, with two on targeted "fragile" areas.To be certified level 1, the back protector must transmit less than 18 kN, with a peak allowed at 24 kN. For level 2, the back protector must transmit less than 9 kN, with a peak allowed at 12 kN. The protection must transmit only an average of 20 kN, with a peak at 35 kN during an impact of 50 J. The greater the distribution of force, the less violent the shock is.
