On the inner legs and above the knees, Continent combines rugged, abrasion-resistant Cordura® Ripstop fabric with stretchy PWR|Shell for maximum flexibility and comfort. Soft leather inserts on the inner thighs provide grip when you're riding. Protection is provided by our removable SEESMART™ CE-level 1 hip and shoulder guards. In addition, the shape at the knee is designed to accommodate a brace or our Scram knee protector - once the SEESMART™ protectors are removed, of course. For practical purposes, the upper legs get cargo pockets with good volume and ventilation zips to cool the rider. We also fitted it with a ratchet closure at the waist for a perfect fit and a silicone belt to keep it from slipping. There's also a special deflector that covers the boot to block any water or mud intrusion.
