Altering the db killer and the associated safety welds/screws violates the product's compliance and makes it illegal for road use.
Is there a removable GPR catalyst?
No
No structural modifications to the motorcycle are required for installation to use the product in an approved version. It is recommended to read the instructions in the package and on YouTube.
The exhaust features a removable db killer (noise limiter) for racing use; removing the db killer is not ONLY illegal, but the customer assumes the responsibility of using the motorcycle solely on the track, without side bags, without a flashlight and without a number plate holder or other parts that would interfere with the different gas angle due to the transformation to racing version.
GPR cannot provide a new silencer in place of the one to be repaired; the customer must agree to reassemble the original exhaust or wait for the standard repair time.

Removable db killers? Altering the db killer welds or the anti-tamper screws, or removing the fitting is illegal for road use and not compliant with EU guidelines; this is only possible for RACING use on circuits, using the open version on the road is not compliant with public road traffic regulations.
WARNING: this item is homologated for noise; the customer must first verify whether the presence of the original catalyst or GPR catalyst is necessary in their country to comply with road traffic regulations and to carry out the annual inspection.
You can use the kit for the official annual inspection.
Mounting recommendations: GPR products are plug and play, but it is still recommended to install them in a professional workshop; no claims will be accepted in the event of incorrect installations.
The specific homologation certificate is provided, along with installation instructions; each silencer bears the homologation code. If issues are encountered during installation, it is mandatory to stop and suspend activity, and to immediately request information and/or advice from customer service via email.
