Givi Motorcycle top case ABS Cata

The Maxia 5 Monokey top case with a capacity of 58 litres is characterised by a design derived from the automotive world: clean lines and high aerodynamics. The structural revision ensures optimised weight, down to 5.4 kg, and greater durability of the top case. The V58NNB version combines four glossy black covers that can be repainted with red reflectors on the front. The clean lines are enhanced by a photograving on the lid and two chrome decorations on the bottom. Particularly suitable for those who enjoy long motorcycle trips, alone or with company, the Maxia 5 top case can hold 2 large modular helmets. The opening and closing are made easier in this version: the comb hinges with stop allow the removal of retaining wires, and a light pressure on the lid enables a slow closure of the lid's end. The increased adherence between the two shells also enhances security against break-ins. Passenger comfort is ensured by a black foam rubber backrest, which can be purchased separately, covered with fabric featuring the GIVI logo, while the inside of the top case is equipped with a soft mat applied to the bottom to prevent items from moving and colliding. An elastic net, anchored to the top case via the 4 hooks on the bottom, is also included. A technical fabric document holder and dedicated internal bag are available as options. Standard features include: • Elastic strap to keep the contents stable inside the top case • Soft internal mat applied to the bottom • Internal net applied to the bottom with 4 pre-set hooks • Lid with comb hinges with stop that say goodbye to pull cords The new lock of the MAXIA 5 makes using the case even more convenient, thanks to a new key position at 60°: by turning the key to this position, it is possible to remove it from the lock and open the lid, keeping the interior of the case accessible at any time without needing to insert the key. This new option is advantageous for short trips when quick access to the contents of the case can be useful. In the same position, however, it will not be possible to detach the case from the plate, which will keep the top case securely on the plate. GIVI guarantees its cases a degree of water resistance equivalent to heavy rain; more specifically, the cases are tested with a special machine that simulates rain at a flow rate exceeding 20 litres/min.
