Protect your Yamaha Tenere 700 with the crash bars Givi, combining durability, adventure style and optimal safety for your bike.
Description+-
Investing in a good crash bar for your motorcycle is a good idea. Crash bars protect your motorcycle (read: mainly the engine) in case of a slight fall or clumsiness... You have to admit that they give a look adventurous and even a little rough.
Atorigine, it was mostly enduro bikes that had crank guards, but nowadays even naked bikes, customs, off-road and touring bikes have adopted the principle. An indelicate landing or a clumsy handling is always likely to cause a lot of damage to the motorcycle but also to the engine block. With a diameter of 25 mm, this frame will be able to retain a lot of shocks.
This does not mean that your bike will never be damaged. It certainly won't. Crankcase guards have proven themselves time and time again, but they are not a total guarantee. The pipes are made of high quality metal and are welded to last. In addition, they can be used to support an extra set of headlights.
While it's great and fun to do-it-yourself, and we encourage you to do so, this is motorcycle safety equipment. If in doubt, we recommend that you seek professional help.
However, if you are confident enough in your own abilities, we are happy to share this tip with you: Tighten the bolts until they are in the right place. This way, you still have the possibility to 'slide' a little more to adjust the whole thing.
