Choose the capacity.

The X'AIR SAFE cartridge is available in four capacities to fit your vest perfectly: 16g for children's sizes S and M, 18g for children's size L and sizes XXS to XST, 20g for size S, 24g for sizes ST and M, and 33g for sizes MT to XL. Make sure to choose the right capacity to ensure optimal activation of your airbag vest.

Not all cartridges are created equal.

The Airbag vests FREEJUMP (and those made by FREEJUMP for the brands Pénélope and Equithème) are certified under the NF S 72 800 2022 standard and as such, only FREEJUMP cartridges are approved for these airbags.

We require the use of FREEJUMP cartridges with our airbags to ensure the proper functioning of our airbags and your safety.

The specifications of the cartridges are crucial for ensuring effective inflation. The quality of the seal is particularly important to check. A seal that is too thick becomes difficult to pierce, the CO2 discharge hole then becomes too small and slows down the gas release, thus delaying the inflation speed of the airbag.

The inflation speed of FREEJUMP airbags, ranging from 80ms to 130ms depending on the size, is arguably the fastest on the market, due to several factors, one of which is the quality of the cartridge seal opening.

The FREEJUMP cartridges are made in Austria or possibly Japan. Under no circumstances are they made in China or any other Asian country, as all the tests we have conducted have shown that the quality of cartridges was not sufficient to guarantee the optimal functioning of our airbags.
